Grade 11 Chemistry
Course Overview:
Grade 11 Chemistry introduces students to the fundamental principles that explain the behaviour of matter and chemical systems. Students develop an understanding of atomic structure, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, quantitative relationships, solutions and solubility, and the behaviour of gases. Through laboratory investigations, mathematical problem-solving, and scientific inquiry, students learn how chemistry explains everyday phenomena and supports innovations in health, industry, technology, and the environment. This course establishes the essential chemical concepts required for Grade 12 Chemistry.
