Grade 11 Biology

Course Overview:

Grade 11 Biology develops students' understanding of the structure, function, and diversity of living organisms. Throughout this course, students investigate biodiversity, evolutionary processes, genetic inheritance, the structure and function of animals, and the anatomy, growth, and function of plants. Students strengthen their scientific investigation, observation, and analytical skills while exploring how biological systems interact with the environment and contribute to life on Earth. This course provides a strong foundation in biological sciences and prepares students for advanced studies in Grade 12 Biology.
